Lesson 9 Arriving in Beijing
一、教学目标
1、知识目标:
掌握单词:men,women,children,people,many
会认读单词:everyone
能运用所学知识用英语表达在火车上看到的、听到的事情
2、能力目标:
能熟练掌握和识记本课单词:men,women,children,people,many
能灵活运用本课所学内容,对身边的人物进行描述
3、情感目标:
培养良好的文化意识和英语语感
培养小组合作意识与互帮互助精神
二、教学重点、难点
1、教学重点:掌握单词men,women,children,people,many
2、教学难点:能利用本课所学知识结合实际活动情况进行情感交际练习
三、课时:1课时
四、教学准备:
自制单词卡片、课件、a poster
五、德育渗透:教育学生尊老爱幼,遵守社会公共秩序。
六、教学过程:
Step 1:Class opening and review
1、Greeting:Hello!Boys and girls!How are you?I'm happy.Are you happy?How's the weather today?It's a lovely day!Let's go on a trip,Ok?
(设计意图:上课伊始,教师与学生自然的问候可以使学生快速融入英语学习氛围,同时为下一步教学做铺垫。)
2、Show the picture of Tian'anmen Square to the students.
What's this?Where is it?Who can say something about Beijing?…
So,Beijing is great!Let's go on a trip to Beijing by train.
3、Show the train on PPT.Now we're on the train.
Do you want to have a chant?(The this that chant)
(设计意图:教师与学生一起chant,有利于激发学生的学习兴趣,激活学生原有的知识this,that,these,those,为学习新知识做必要的准备)
4.Can we jump on the train?Can we look out the window on the train?Ok.What can you see?
(设计意图:创设在火车内的情境,使学生不知不觉引入新知,街接自然,让学生在玩中学,学中玩)
Sept 2:New cocept
(一)part 1
1、出示man图,What can you see?板书This is a man./This is one man.
2、出示men图,Is this a man?板书These are men./These are many men.拼读men.从音形区别man与men.
3、出示woman图,Who is this?板书This is a woman./This is one woman.I am a woman,too.
4、出示women图,How many women?4 women.板书These are women.拼读women.从音形区别woman与women.
5、出示boy and gir图,This is a boy and a girl.
Who is a boy?Stand up,please.Who is a girl?Stand up,please.Who is a child?The boy is a child.The girl is a child,too.Boys and girls are children.板书,拼读children=child+ren.区别child与children.
6、出示people图,Men,women and children are people.板书,拼读people.
7、出示Beijing Train Station图,Look,What's this?It's Beijing Train Station.
Oh,We arrive in Beijing.I'm very tired.Are you tired?Ask more students.So,Everyone is tired.板书everyone.Ask students to say a sentence with everyone .
(设计意图:通过动画出示单词直观、形象,并在教授单词时说明各个词之间的区别及记忆方法、技巧,渗透给学生学习策略。)
(二)part 2
1、出示four pictures.
Teacher ask students try to describe them in pairs.Then show the dialogue to the class.
Who are they?What are they doing in the train station?(They'd better to say one sentence)
(设计意图:本环节的输出练习承上启下,为第二部分的文本输入打下基础,降低填空题写的难度。)
2、Do you want to know Li Ming,Danny,Jenny and Mrs.Li see in the train station?
Let's listen to the tape.
3、Show the question of Fill in the blanks ,ask one student to read.
(设计意图:学生带着明确的任务听录音,可以帮助学生理解文本大意,利于培养学生语言运用能力。)
4、Listen to the dialogue of part 2.
5、Ask studentsto do Fill in the blanks .
Li Ming,Danny,Jenny and Mrs.Li arrive in Beijing.Everyone is tired and hungry.There are many people in the Beijing Train Station.These women are buying tickets.Some children are crying.These men are talking.Some children are playing cards.
6、Read follow the dialogue of part 2.
(设计意图:为学生更好地掌握课文,并养成良好的语音、语调)
Step 3:Practice
1、Ask the students to talk about something in the classroom.
What can they see in the classroom?What are the people doing?
2、The students can make up some other dialogues,use the words they have learned today.
Step 4:Homework:
教师向生展示自制的 苹果 树,每个 苹果 上的图都配有相关的句子。要求学生自已制作图画并用今天所学内容配上简短的句子,完成后将成果放到 苹果 树上。
